A variety of events and demonstrations take place throughout the year which include craft fairs. Entry is free on weekdays but chargeable at weekends. The livetock which can be seen at the centre or in the surrounding fields include, shire horses, cows, poultry, pigs and sheep of which some are rare breeds.
